Warwick Carter

Warwick has produced some freeware classics, many outshining a lot of payware so in chronological order here’s a list of his amazing work.

Australian Tiger Moth

It’s a bit outdated now but it’s the best moth availible, it’s great to fly and there is plenty of room for modification.

GeeBee Racer

Gorgeous VC and the gold Transload livery is really stunning. Great fun and actually not too hard to fly.

P-51

The North American Mustang is iconic, maybe not so much the civilian varient as portrayed here but this is an iconic piece of FS modelling. It has everything.

Raytheon King Air

Allied FS Group add another fantastic freeware aircraft filling in an under-nourished gap in the freeware market. Their King Air package has an excellent exterior, interior and fully usable VC. In the future there may be 2D panel updates to bring it up to spec with the likes of their also amazing NAMC YS-11.

Yak-12

Harrier panels produce a lovely little Yak-12 package. As floaty on frames as an AI model but with sounds that hurt your ears. Great 3D gauges in the cockpit and high resolution add-on textures in this bad boy.

Fletcher FU-24-500

Deane Baunton has released the first in his line of Fletcher agricultural workhorses for FSX but they also work well in FS9 if you swap the gauges around. It’s a beauty to fly, hear and look at… the model that is. For more pictures see my Pictures or get it on avsim now.

Cessna 150

Francois-Denis Guidée and Yves Franckart’s long awaited C150 package has arrived. Quite possibly the best freeware aircraft availible right now, it’s just so packed with features. For more infomation see my pictures.

Champion Decathlon

Professional modellers can produce amazing work when they turn to FS, this is no exception. The Airhead Decathlon (super deke) has a high resolution exterior that just begs to be photographed. The interior is no less excellent.

Airhead have no closed, but the aircraft can still be downloaded here.
