Samdim Mudry Cap-10B

Master designers Samdim Design Group have left the soviet union to produce a French aerobatic aircraft. Many simmers are happy they did because this is an amazing bit of freeware! If you want something nimble with a very immersive cockpit (3D gauges + head latency) you can download this file on Avsim. For those with low FPS there is a second file available from the Samdim website.

Mario Noriega’s Piaggio P-149D

Mario gets better and better with each model (you should certainly keep an eye on his next project) and this P-149D is a real joy. Crisp, clean modelling, clear 2D panel and really well done 3D virtual cockpit this package has it all for GA fliers. Including a lovely smoke effect at high throttle. You can pick it up on Avsim.

Rick Piper releases Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat

Modern may not be Rick’s usual thing but he’s done a wonderful job crafting a fine exterior with high resolution textures and transferring those great 3D modelled gauges into a finely crafted VC. It’s a must have for any GA fan. You can download it from Horizon Simulation Ltd.

Veneaviones Rockwell Turbo Commander

Veneaviones continued their fantastic modelling skills from the Cessna Citation to their first full package here. You get a well crafted 2D and 3D panel, some very good sounds and a really fantastic model. It’s both a great looker and a great flyer.

Socata TBM700

The large French team released this highly acclaimed package a few years ago and it’s still looking good. Outside you get a fantastic model, very sleek with lots of eye candy while inside you get some of the best gauges I’ve ever seen in flight sim, they’re gorgeous to look at.

Spartan Executive

Milton Shupe has produced many notable masterpieces, this is perhaps my favourite. From the noise to the sleek looks, the Learjet of the 30’s is a very complete and interesting package.
