I’ve added a new section to highlight freeware utilities that deserve your attention. Hopefully they will enhance your flight simulator world in the same way they did mine.

Real Environment Pro

Tim Fuchs has released an extensive environment upgrade package for your sim world. It includes multiple new texture options for the sun, sky, water and airport surfaces and the amazing autogen from Feng Zhu. It’s well worth a download if you don’t own payware Flight Environment from Flight 1 or Flight Enhancer from Cielosim.

FlusiFix

Flusifix is a handy and very easy to use little program from Wolfgang Picheta that allows you to perform all the little tweaks and modifications to your fs9.cfg without any searching, viewing hidden files or risk. A must have tool.

Welcome to my new website! Instead of programming something I decided to be ‘cool’ and go open source… though I did end up programming ZenPhoto into Wordpress. Well, what can you find here then? Really you will find the same as before (Forum Air) with links to my files, images and reviews, however I have taken advantage of the blog format and RSS to produce a feed combining my news with links to the latest releases both free and pay.

To the right you will see a categories menu with ‘Freeware Heads Up‘ and more categories beneath. These are links to the finest freeware availible for FS2004 and have been thoroughly used and abused by me. Also new is the ‘Pictures‘ section as opposed to a simple one-level gallery I now have a detailed gallery with a section for my latest adventure or purchase mini-review.

The site is definately still under testing, if you find any bugs just let me know by leaving a message somewhere around the site. Lastly, the entries are not in any order - it may be some time before it makes chronological sense =) Hinch
