Roland Laborie’s Mirage 2000

Roland Laborie has produced some amazing packages for flight sim and this is another classic. There are two packages availible, one covering a single EC varient and the an update covering 4 planes with updates to the flight dynamics and more eye candy - so if you’re really into it you can get the lot! Sublime cockpit, exterior, effects… a wonderful package, it beats a lot of payware - especially the heads up display which is clear as day.

You can get this must have package from Avsim or head over to my gallery to few some screenshots of this wonder.

Veneaviones Rockwell Turbo Commander

Veneaviones continued their fantastic modelling skills from the Cessna Citation to their first full package here. You get a well crafted 2D and 3D panel, some very good sounds and a really fantastic model. It’s both a great looker and a great flyer.

Availible in two flavours from Avsim.

Socata TBM700

The large French team released this highly acclaimed package a few years ago and it’s still looking good. Outside you get a fantastic model, very sleek with lots of eye candy while inside you get some of the best gauges I’ve ever seen in flight sim, they’re gorgeous to look at.

You can get it from Avsim.

Eric Marciano’s Radar Gauge V2

One of the most impressive freeware panel offerings and used in so many panels both free and pay, so how did version two of this classic gauge nearly slip by me?

New very smooth GDI+ vector graphics, 2 colours, 2 shapes, improved performance and now works independently from FSUIPC.

You can get it from Eric’s website.

David Maltby’s Comet now with Virtual cockpit!

Never sure of release let alone so soon given replies given by DM over at CBFSim, but the update for his Dehavilland Comet package is here! In brief you now get a more detailed, higher resolution panel, a VC and new dynamics. It’s one of the prettiest, high performance VC’s around and is an absolute joy to hand fly… then there’s the noise! For more infomation and downloads head over to DM Flight Sim.
